Part of the second half of last year was a great time for DeFi as everything from Uniswap to YFI, ChainLink, DAI, AAVE, Sushiswap, Harvest Finance etcetera exploded in value. Since then the narrative in the crypto “industry” by the big talking heads like Mike Novogratz and the Twitter crowd has been that DeFi was here to take over, and that crypto had finally found its use case.
